Hi there!

CEC with expiring work permit..... is there any article published.. Probably I missed it.. can you please share.

also, what do you mean by 'CEC to be given more points is IRCC criteria into OINP's criteria' ? every one irrespective of CEC or FSW, once nominated, are going to get 600 points rt? again did I miss something? can you please share the link?

Reading their words again...they only said CEC with expiring work permit will be given priority.( only in processing) Not all CEC. So others will be at par to FSW and we will soon see nominations coming. CEC to be given more points is IRCC criteria into OINP's criteria.

They will consider CEC whose WP expire in 3-4 months only.

Thanks. I am not biased for CEC, and to me, the nomination should be processed in the order of AOR received. but the below point

'•The OINP will make every effort to identify those applications in the current inventory where an applicant’s legal status in Canada is at risk of expiring. They will be processed first.'

Doesn't it indicate that CEC applicants would be preferred over FSW.. Most of the CEC applicants must be on Temporary workers permit visa. Considering the fact that if someone has applied in OINP in Sep 2015 and say they got workers permit in Sep 2015 only, all of them would be at risk on or before Sep 2017 (workers visa is mostly issues for 2 years max)

Post-graduation work permit has a max. Of 3 -year validity.

Not 2 months. I was speaking about Legal status expiring On or before Sep 2017
Anyways You guys are better at analyzing it.. I was just exploring point 12 what it actually mean ..
I wish for fast nominations to all of us.

Hi, we have the same situation and I did the same way too. Was hesitant to update them about the new job but guess it is best to let them know (before they may eventually find out) since they have always specified that they have to be updated about any change in our info. Will just have to wait and see. Good luck to us!

My profile expired over two months ago. Just create new one and inform oinp (with docs mentioned on their website). No problem.

Sorry! are they supposed to acknowledge the new DD we sent, or the receipt is for en-cashing it!?
