What is the next step after AOR?

Wait patiently for nominationr

I saw one reply that after AOR it may take 6 to 9 months to get nomination, and another year for PR issue. Is it the normal situation for both CEC and FSW ?

No one can predict time frame for AOR or NOM. For PR, CIC says 6 months after ITA; 80% of PR cases completed in 6 months (CEC,FSW).

Will we follow up the post-AOR status in this thread ? or anyone could suggest how we connect to follow up till PR received.

Applicants are in wait status, on Dec/Jan...Mar threads..for AOR/NOM

IMO Oct/Nov/ Dec/Jan...Mar threads can continue till PR is processed.

Just wondering how people receive the AOR. Is it in the mail or via email? I got notification of interest for the OINP on Dec 4th 2015. I am under the CEC. Dropped my application off in person on January 18th (exactly 45 days) and I am yet to hear back from them.

I have received my AOR today (8/9/2016)!

Although my tracking showed that they received my application on 27/01/2016 the AOR states they received it on 28/01/2016 (FYI for the list).

I sent my package through Fedex just in case Canada post lose it. It arrived on Jan 18th as well. But no AOR yet. Just a pre-AOR from early July.

Jan 26 app reached.. Aor august 10th (IST)..

Finally got my AOR. email with 2 pdf's attached.
EE file created Dec 2015. Application package received Jan 20th 2016.
AOR date July 29th. ( But I didn't receive it until Aug 9th).

Hello all. I rcvd AOR today. App submitted by hand on 28 Jan. Kindly update.

Meanwhile, am on SOWP which expires on Nov 30. I have a full time job with one of the big 5 banks. I read somewhere that there will be priority for applicants whose WP will be expiring within 4 months if they notify OINP. Is this true please?

Hi guyz,

I have finally received AOR. File no 1604xxx. They have asked me for a new DD.

I have a friend living in Ontario. I would like to know if he can send DD to OINP on my behalf? If yes, then how to proceed? Should I send him my acknowledgement letter so that he should attach it with the new DD? Please guide me about the correct procedure.
