I got a call at 9.50 am EST. Asked some questions to confirm my identity. Then asked me to submit the following.
- Latest 6 months bank statements
- Authorize WES
For the first one, I explained the situation in India and told her I may not be able to get the statements stamped and signed. She said she she is aware of the situation and I have 15 days of time so I can submit after a few days too.
For the second, I told her I have already done that right after my application was delivered. She put me on hold for some time and told me she cannot find it. I told her I can send her WES receipt as well as the email acknowledgment I received from OINP.
After that, since I could not obtain a reference letter from my previous employer, she asked me my roles and responsibilities and noted them down. Asked further questions to understand the software jargon I used. I also mentioned that I managed to obtain reference letter.
At the end, allowed me to ask questions. She answered that within a week of receiving my additional documents, she will forward my application to decision officer and that she does not know how long that officer would take to nominate me. She also answered that their office understands that we have been waiting too long and are targeting to complete all applications by the end of the year however, she cannot guarantee this too.
At 4.45 pm EST, I got the email. The following are requested.
- Previous employer's reference later
- POF and Bank statements from Jun 2016 to Nov 2016
- Authorize WES
