Is it necessary to get it attested by bank? You know how difficult it is to get work done in banks. The online statement has bank name, my name, logo, etc. in addition to balance, transactions and other technical details like IFSC code and stuff.

It is not difficult.

They will verify the statement which you will carry with you and stamp it's first and last page. That's it.

No they cannot nominate you unless they are employers and offering you a Job.

I would highly recommend to get the bank statement with the bank stamped, if not signed. Yes situation with banks in India is not so appealing however, get the work done even if takes a day or two extra. Use your references maybe.

In my case I traveled all the way back to my country to get original BS.

My assets include my savings account (shared with father) and 3 Fixed Deposits (shared with mother). Do I need to submit their NOCs?

What I am concerned now is if they have received our documents or not?
Additional documents were sent by many through email but so many people out there explained that program never received them. Whats surprising is that those emails were never bounced back.

To avoid such drama I have dispatched originals as well. However, I am thinking of calling them and making sure they have received what they requested.

Your suggestions?

Yea better to call and get the confirmation . I will try and call them to know if they have received my documents.

To my understanding we don't need to combine all dcuments into one PDF. This is what they said in my email


"If submitting via email, please ensure documents are compiled into one PDF document for each requested item". There are 5 items requested for me. So We dnt need to combine all docs into one PDF.

What you guyz think.

In Proof of Fund you have to show that funds are un-encumbered. In your case, you are sharing your assets and FD with your parents.

There has to be an NoC on Stamp paper/notarized with your parents signature that in case you need these assets or FD they will have no issues and they can give it to you as gift.
