Well I didn't really care that much. I was headhunted from Australia by my current employer (Government) and only submitted my EOI when I got the job but I delayed my start date till November 2023 and fully settled here in January 2024. My Engineering work experience is in a specialist area that don't usually get nominated that often.

I am an Australian Citizen don't really have nothing to worry about. My job is full time permanent anyways via the international mobility program so worse case my office will keep renewing my work permit.

As for your work visa, is it not renewable pending when you get your PR?
I can only renew my visa after getting ITA and then AOR from EE. I will be eligible for BOWP.
I have applied under OINP for foreign work job offer stream and CEC under EE. Hope something works but Unsure it was good idea to apply both separately.

There is no timeline. It depends on when your NOC is selected for the draws. Once you submit your EOI, you may get ITA the next day if you are just so lucky that there was a draw that day that included your NOC (and you had enough points to be invited).
Looking at the trend past few months I dont see any draws for CEC or OINP foreign worker stream. Now with the latest news when they say they will focus more on domestic draws, I am hopeful.

Never hurts to apply through 2 different streams. What is your NOC? Is EE score high enough for ITA?

I think you still have enough time before your visa expires although it depends on your NOC. from past years my NOC usually receive ITA once a year. Good idea to apply for all streams you qualify for as well.

So is that NOC selected in OINP draws, and if so would your OINP score be high enough. Have you considered learning French to increase your CRS score? Or increasing it in another way (education, LMIA).
First My NOC is in demand in Ontario.
My OINP Foreign job worker stream score is 54 and last draw cut off was 50 so I am hopeful here.
Learning a French language is my long term goal and i wont be having that much time to learn it now so that I can use it for my profile.
LMIA i am thinking to try as in my company they are refusing saying they only give LMIA for new hiring not to existing employee. So I am gonna look for other jobs where I can get LMIA either for PR or to get work visa extension. I am not thinking of getting degree here again since I have master equivalency already. Education will be so expensive option for me.

I am also thinking to get job offers from other province employer such as Alberta since they also have my NOC in their demand list but that's a long shot. Sticking to Ontario as of now because I have been working in Ontario for 1.5 years with valid job offer in hand for permanent position. I just hope they start taking draws as early as possible.

Whoa, how did you receive an ITA four months into the future? It's only March 2024...

My NOC 11202 and CRS coming for 443.
Very low to none chances of getting invited through express entry.

Your NOC is not regularly selected for a specific OINP draw (like tech, health, or trades). Your option is a general OINP draw. There was one this last January, and the previous one was in 2022.

Consider learning French.

Thank you for replying. Few additional information I would like to mention:
1. Working in Canada from last 1.5 years full time and will be completing 2 years in Sept 2024 (unfortunately visa expiring same month)
2. Got OINP Job Offer letter from the employer, already in talk with them for LMIA.
3. Have Master Degree Equivalency from CES
4. Recently cleared IELTS with band 7.

I know OINP Employer foreign worker job offer stream and CEC Inland is what I should be looking at the moment.
Just want to see if I am missing anything else or should I get job offer from another province such as Alberta. I am hopeful with Ontario PNP because I am living and working in the province.
Thoughts?

yes you are correct. some NOC like my own 21321 only get ITA's once a year. I was lucky to have received one just 2 months in Canada. The general OINP draw is usually once a year in January but who knows things can change.

Good idea to ask your employer if they can get LMIA. If that doesn't work and you are running out of time maybe look out for another company here in Ontario who can employ you with an LMIA? There are other programs or pathways you can explore for employment here in Ontario apart from LMIA. For me my work permit is LMIA exempt (international mobility program via CPTPP) although sometimes this may depend on your country of origin.

Another suggestion would be to start working with your company on how to fill out the OINP Employer form for you when you receive your ITA. That takes time and it's better to know your employer stand on that ASAP as there are some confidential info regarding finance and staffing the must disclose on the form. Some employers decline and then it becomes a problem.

All the best mate!
