Hey everyone,

I recently got a NOI for OINP on the 26th of March, but I'm in a weird situation with my work experience.

I started working full-time(40 hours) on the 21st of April 2017, so I technically only have 11 months and change of experience.

I created my express entry profile on March 14, and selected April 2017 as starting date (can only select months on EE). On EE I always appeared as eligible for CEC, even though I didn't complete 12 full months yet. So I'm not sure if they calculate the hours equivalent to 1560 or how it works at all.

Now making my OINP application, this section is kind of scary: Note: Any work experience obtained after you received your Notification of Interest through your IRCC online account will not count towards the minimum 12 months of work experience required. You must have accumulated at least 12 months of work experience by the date that you received your NOI to qualify under the Human Capital Priorities Stream.

They ask for the specific day I started working, instead of just the month as well. So I'd be filling my employment start date as 21st of April 2017, while my NOI was on 26th of March 2018.

Do you all think I would get rejected?
Hmm...technically you are lacking a month in your overall experience, regardless of your application submission since the last one month after receipt of NOI does not count. I would suggest that you recreate your EE profile after a month to get a fresh NOI, then reapply.

Why do you say I should recreate the EE profile?

Would I not get any subsequent NOI's on my current one if I kept using it?

Cz you only get an NOI once on a profile. If you do not accept by submitting an OINP application it becomes automatically rejected and you don't get anymore...

I understand that people who received NOI for OINP with CRS less than 400 must also meet the minimum language criteria of CLB7 in each ability (LRWS). Do we have someone who received NOI without meeting this criteria?

On OINP website its mentioned
Employers outside of the Greater Toronto Area must have:
  • A minimum of $500,000 in gross annual revenue for the most recent fiscal year,
  • Three full-time employees who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents at the location where the applicant will work.
Any idea if they make exception to these requirement .. like revenue arnd $300,000 ?
This is for Employer Job Offer Stream, right? It is different to HCP stream targeting people that has Job Offer.

Hi Guys,

I have a question about Work Experience. In my EE profile, I added 3-years work experience back in Brazil and more than 1-year experience here in Canada. My questions are:
  1. Can I remove the exceed 1-year experience from my EE before I submit to OINP? I mean, I worked in 2 companies before my current company. In my current company, I already have +1-year experience. Can I remove the others?
  2. I believe I made a mistake on work dates in my EE. I still having 3-years experience, but I added wrong dates. Can I update the information before submit?
Thanks for helping!

Rodrigo

You can make corrections in EE profile any number of times before receiving ITA. Even you can edit after ITA also, but any change should be supported by a Letter of Explanation.

I have no idea about the 1st point though, sorry

Can anybody help ?
If there is an influx of large sum of money, you need to show the proof of source.

For example, if you receive, lets say 5 lakhs from your father or mother or immediate relative, you can execute a gift deed for the same. Gift deed is a declaration in a non judicial stamp paper providing details of the transaction and amount by the doner and donee and get it notarized.

OINP hasn't issued any NOI to HCP FSW stream since Feb 23. My guess is that they have sent enough NOIs + Nominations already that they are waiting to see how many more slots are left before sending any new one.

Thanks a lot Raj! This is of great help to all of us applying! I have received a NOI from OINP. I am preparing my documents. What I understand now is that I do not need to send the hard copy of my documents now. I just have to upload the documents in the OINP portal.

Hard copy of docuements was for paper based applications. Now process has moved to e-portal and you need to upload documents. Hope it helps.

I received NOI on Feb 26th, the deadline being April 11th; so it might be possible that there will be a new HCP NOI during april last week

For your kind information, TEF Canada official results only come after 6 weeks, how could have you got the results within 3 weeks?

How long did you prepare for your exam? Did you self study ?
Not true. They take 2 to 6 weeks. I was lucky and got my official results after 2 weeks.

I prepared for a few months but got French in high school before.
