Sorry g126, I haven't made myself understood. I way passed the tax exemption thresholds in 2015 and 2016. So I guess I have to pay back the taxes that I didn't pay, then submit to OINP the tax fillings. Am I correct?

Explain in a LoE that you don't have business tax filings as your business is too small and is exempt. You should show proof that it's exempt from taxes by quoting the law that makes it exempt and showing how you've met the criteria to be exempt.

Hmmm... why did you not pay the taxes? I'm only asking because OINP will be asking the same question, so think about this and explain it in a LoE convincingly...

I suppose that's your only option now, back pay the taxes and then send the tax fillings.

I think you'll need an official job offer letter, you know, written on company letterhead along with your salary, benefits, etc...

Once you have that from them and your nomination you can do this yourself on the MyCIC page, just go to Apply for Visitor, Study and/or Work Permit and answer the questions... If you need any other documents from the employer the site will tell you.

Be aware that it's not the easiest site to navigate through so if you have an immigration lawyer or firm that you use, best to leave for them to do.

That's great thanks. Very reassuring!! An immigration lawyer told me to apply on paper as the site was so tough to negotiate. I have sent a copy of the email with my application. I guess if they need something more official, they will let me know.

If you still haven't received then your application is complete..

Create new profile like you did before and after logging in there's blue button to link application.

Thanks Prashant for the information. Before creating my new application should I withdraw the existing application. If so, how can I link a withdrawn application to the new one.

My CRS score is not updated even i created ne wprofile and its more than 48 hours now. When I re-created the profile it got dropped to 334 pts then again come back to the same old pts 407. However it should display 422 as 15 pts for Canadian Education as per new Calculator. Pls help@@\\!!

Soon.. they're working had to clear most of 2016's candidates but the end of the year so I think at the beginning of next year they should reopen...

But be aware, if it's anything like this year you're in for a painful process!

Seconded. Once the backlog is done, they can start fresh and start accepting applications through their proposed online portal. However, it might take a while before they can clear this monstrous backlog off.

Hi everyone!

Finally i got my ADR request today

They have asked for
- 2 recent paystubs
- Any leave taken during my tenure and supporting doc for it
- last 6 month bank statement

Now, according to my previous employer's HR policy, they don't provide any leave proofs? what to do for that??

Seniors, when I created the EE profile and was asked how many years of Skilled Work Experience, I have been confused.

Does this experience should be in line with only the same TYPE of O, A, or B when calculating the years? For example, if I have 1 year in type O and 2 years in Type A, and 3 years in Type B, how many years of Skill Work Experience should I put?

Your work experience must be:
• at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
• paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
• in the same NOC skill type (0, A or B),
• within the last 10 years, and
• at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).
