I am posting this thread to look for advice. Here is the background:
I submitted my application a month ago. I recently received the IMM5801 from IRCC sayinng "We are currently processing your application to Permanent Resident. Now you are qualify to receive pre-arrival service xxxxxx" and the Biometric letter. Refer to my IRCC Tracker, the eligibility check for my parter is passed as well. But now, I found that I have not ever received any AOR email.... My partner checked his email and there is no AOR email too.....As what I have known, the IMM5801 is not an AOR and the IMM5801 usually comes after the AOR. (Correct me if I am wrong). We both checked all the spams and deleted emails
My question is, it seems the AOR is missed in this case? but there is a file number in the Biometric letter ... I am confused now. Should I reach out IRCC to ask them resend the AOR email to me? The reason why I am concerned is I need an AOR email/letter to apply an open work permit. My permit is about to expire. Not sure what I can do. Thank you for all your inputs and comments!!!
