What happens if Express Entry profile expires after getting nomination but before getting ITA?

Do we need to inform OINP or CIC?

Hi guys,

I received an ADR on Nov 29th, sent all documents via email on Dec 9th and in person on Dec 12th.

Yesterday, I have sent an email to check the status of my application and whether they have received my additional documents.

Today early morning, OINP officer called me to ask about my work experience at my home country and ask about my status in Canada and work right now. it was 4-5 minutes call and she told me that she is my officer and that OINP is processing all applications the faster they can so that they can finish everything before next year.

She told me she will be transferring my application to senior officer for decision and 30 minutes after the call I received an email informing me that my application is in Decision phase and if the senior officer needs anything, he/she will contact me. otherwise, I should expect to receive a final decision in just 2 weeks.

Create a new express enter profile, notify OINP about it and ask them to transfer points to your new profile. Fax /email them.

Hi,

After we get our nomination from OINP they send us the certificate via mail but unfortunately I didn't get mine yet and I got a call from Purolator about some shipment but they didn't provide me any tracking number. When Purolator called me, I was having my lunch and there is no way to write down my tracking number. I called them (Purolator) many times but no luck.

Any idea if I can go to OINP itself and request them new one or get the tracking number from them ? Your help/suggestions will be much appreciated.

ADR is not a compulsory requirement... have seen several nominations previously without ADRs... so personally i wouldnt be too worried

So if my profile expires before ITA I will have to call OINP to get the nomination transferred . Has anyone reported how much time do they take to transfer the nomination ? Hope it's not again weeks and months .

I am in the same situation.

I was really banking on getting ITA yesterday so I won't have to create another profile to replace the one which will expire on Dec 18.

So apparently, the draw didn't happen so my questions are 1. how do I go about creating a new profile. 2. I know I have to notify OINP after I have the new profile set up. Do I also have to notify CIC? 3. Will Ontario transfer my nomination to the new profile? ,And the nomination certificate which OINP will be sending, will carry my old EE profile number. Hope that isn't a problem? 4.Will there still be a draw this year?

a physical nomination certificate is not that important... if you cant find it, it should still be OK

it is an important document and you should keep it safe at all times until citizenship application.

If I don't receive nomination certificate can I just upload OINP nomination letter and proceed with eAPR.

it's not needed to upload it, but we upload it anyhow in the LOE section

There have been reports of people waiting for 45 days for OINP to transfer their NoM to their new file... So my advice is:
- If you already have a NoM in your profile then wait for a long as possible to recreate, so in your case I would not recreate before the first Wednesday of Jan
- If you do not yet have a NoM then its up to you if you want to try being pro active and recreating your profile or just wait util it expires
