Hi, all!

I received the PT letter last year, in September,2015, sent my application in October, and almost 90 days later I received my envelope back because they said a translation of a document (birth certificate) was missing. But, well, I did send the required translation and they gave me more 30 days to re-send the application.

Anyway, I updated my proof of funds documents and re-sent my application. It was delivered there in February, 2nd, 2016. Waiting for AOR!

The average waiting time to receive AOR is around 100 days. Lets see and hope that it reduces a little in due course of time.

Please make sure that the translation you sent was from the certified translator from CIC or if it was not a certified translator then the translation was notarized.

Guys have you noticed the November thread...Lot of applications are being returned and given 30 days time to re-submit. I do not intend to panic anyone about return of applications just the delay that I am worried about.

Just an update: I received today a reply from Ontario to an e-mail I have sent them on january, 13th when my application was returned.

Their answer was:

"Good day,
Our records indicate that your application package has been received on February 2, 2016 in our office and is in queue for review by an officer.

Due to the high volume of applications being received, Acknowledgement Letters may take longer to be issued.

If your application is complete, you will receive the letter from OINP by email to indicate that your application has been accepted for assessment.

If your application is incomplete, your package will be returned to you by Purolator including the payment.

Thank you for your interest in our program.

Regards,
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program"
