I have never called OINP. But my wife insisted that i I gave a call to just make sure that they have received my updated EE profile info. They answered me on the first ring and the person confirmed that they have received my profile info and my application is near closure and i should hear from them soon. That is reassuring and I am keeping my expectations in check. Hopefully i will receive my nomination by end of November.

I would not recommend everyone to call the SPO for status inquiries unless under exceptional circumstances.

Acknowledge there is a delay which is frustrating however we only have to wait and let them get back to us.
