Hi,

Received the my offer of employment letter from my company, would appreciate some opinion if the statement below will meet the requirements with regards to "have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa".

"Mr. XXX’s employment contract does not have a fixed end date, and the intention is to keep him employed with the company for at least a year after permanent residency is granted."

I think that should work : )

Can be the "offer of employment letter" a backdate offer? I've been working for the company for 1 year. my old Job offer doesn't have the explicit message

The letter must be current and must include this statement.

It wouldn't sound weird for the Visa officer a Job Offer with a recent date? Because I've been working for the company for 1 year, the start date on the "Offer of employment" would be "April 2019".

But it also weirds a Job offer from 1 year ago talking about "permanent residency" statement.

It's confusing for me.

PS: I also need to upload the "Employment Letter" and "Reference letter" that are the updated ones.

An old job offer letter is not required to apply, and a letter of reference is different, written AFTER the required experience is completed. The only reason to include a job offer letter is if you are claiming the extra 50 points for having a valid job offer, which is a NEW and FUTURE job offer, therefore not weird.

I have a question about the offer of employment letter.

By whom the letter was signed in your company. it's by your superior person or from the HR manager.
