We received AOR January 19th and received citizenship application tracker email yesterday. I've tried a dozen times to create an account but never receive the email verification code from ircc. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi! We had to try a few times too before it went through.
I waited for two working days after receiving my AOR before trying to create the tracking accounts. We entered our details as prompted and initially nothing happened. It took atleast seven tries before we got through but after that everything worked well. I think it'll work for you too in a couple of days. All the best!
No, that part didn't give us any trouble. We had to try multiple times before our accounts got created.
Ah ok. I been trying all day but never get the verification code from ircc. Maybe will try Monday

That’s unusually fast and others are posting fast speeds now. Don’t want to get all conspiracy but there was evidence they rushed citizen applications during the last Quebec referendum, maybe they’re doing the same now in anticipation for Alberta and Quebec?
That's definitely possible. They haven't come out this time and said it yet so no idea if that is true.
I am surprised Background is completed already.
I suspect LPP might take the same amount of time to complete as the other applications - that also depends on outside agencies (CBSA, Justice system, CSIS, etc) I think. Maybe IRCC has streamlined things on their end since Carney's push for workforce reductions, AI inclusion and efficiency.
Overall the processing time might end up being the same unless those agencies also are going through the same efficiency gains.
Either way, I think this good progress if IRCC is being more efficient.
No that’s not the case.
It depends on the officer handling the case and their workload.
There are pockets of speed here and there but it all boils down to the workload of whoever is handling a case.
