The application is yours, buddy. I don’t recommend leaving everything for your lawyer to handle. Usually, they have many applications to take care of, so if something happens, you can anticipate it and avoid delays.
Fair point.. for some reason when I tried linking the application to my GC account, the system wouldn’t get any details to match.. should I call IRCC and change contact details for the application so that I can link it to my account?
I pretty much applied in Jan 25, got my AOR within a few weeks, biometrics in March, got my TRP open work permit in September, medical done third week dec25.. now just waiting for next step but don’t know what it might be…
I'm not sure what you have done wrong for the system do not match your contact... your lawyer could help you with that, and I strongly recommend to access your account online to check the progress of your application.
I submitted the PR Confirmation portal declaration on Jan 6. Last update on tracker was Dec 17. How much do I have to wait to get COPR?
A long time, apparently. Our P2 was Dec 19, tracker last updated Dec 22. Still waiting, IRCC confirmed they are working as fast as they can, but no timeline.

Medical completed July 2024 (and now expired since July 2025). No request for a re-medical.

I’m sure there are a lot of applicants in the same boat as you. Some applications may take longer to process during the background check for many reasons, such as the country you are from or some activities you may have done in the past. There’s nothing you can do except wait. Don’t do a new medical exam unless they request it.
Finally after P2 on Jan 6th, got the eCoPR on Feb 14th. Hope this helps others.
Anyone knows when the PR card typically arrives? I sent the pic and address on Jan 6th.
