Thanks for the info. Just checked my Son's tracker for the first time and it shows Prohibition as complete, while mine is still in progress !!

So it is same with my case. Just waiting

I have a rare & lucrative job offer from US, with my Citizenship application stuck in the BG & Prohibitions, I cant pursue it. I know there will still be the TN visa huddle even after Citizenship & Passport but at least I could plan a little better.

My US B1/B2 visa is also expiring in August this year, I was hoping I would get my Canadian passport and wouldn't have to renew...not sure what to do now.

I would be eligible for dropbox/interview-waiver...the usual processing time is supposed to be 4-8weeks. If it gets stuck in Administrative review then it has no time limits....your passport is stuck for good. Check if you qualify for dropbox...

Applied for passport: May 15th, 2025
Passport received: May 29th, 2025
I was really impressed with how fast the service at the North York ServiceCanada was. I went around 12 noon and was out by 12:30pm. I applied in person and requested self-pickup. It was exactly 10 business days. Definitely recommend it.
