Same here. Before, I check my GCKey 3 times a day. Nowadays, I just give it a look once a week. I feel more healthy this way. Otherwise it’s just way too much stress ... lol

The waiting is tiring.

In some cases the finger prints are not clear, which could be due to many reasons. The officer has the discretion t ask for a new finder prints if required.
See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...t/biometrics/administration/fingerprints.html

If you give fingerprints one more time, then the new ones can be substituted for the current ones you gave for the PR application. And if the reason for poor quality, that will be addressed.
You don't have to, as it will be available in the system anyway. But you can send a webform. No harm.

Most likely yes, if not, then you will get a decision soon.
Thank you very much for your inputs !!!

Oh. I have done the same on January 15th but haven't recieved any extensions nor any updates as of right now. Which website did you use?
I had ordered through atip website

I too ordered the notes through CBSA on January 15th. Yet to receive it. I ordered through getgcms.com

I searched the forum for other people who have ordered through CBSA recently and I found out that they are shipping notes on a CD now (which was normal before coronavirus). That means it will take 30 + number of days for the shipment to reach getcms.com's address. The person on the forum I quoted received the notes in 40 days on a CD shipped to his address.

Oh. Bummer! Hope not. Due to Covid, it should be all digital and via email, to be honest. As soon as I get any updates, I will post it here.

Did you find any mistake in your submitted travel history or you just sent again the same? I always wonder why they sent travel history adr. Should be some reasons behind it.

No mistakes. Sending the same one. Did you have to submit Travel History as well?

Since 2017, The IP 1 2 3 4 or whatever they called, are means nothing... Your "Background" status will be IP until the "Final decision" made as to the same as the "eligibility" status. Both will update with the "Final decision" made status.
If you want real updated status about your EE application,
Please call IRCC @888-242-2100(hint: press 1-2-0 to talk with a real agent real quick)
OR
send a webform to IRCC (will be a couple of weeks to get a response).
Hope this will help most ppl who only know check their application status on IRCC website.

hei, BGS changed to in progress on the 6th January and then been staying at in progress for over a month now. It’s still showing in progress as of today. I’m loosing my shit.
same here its been like that since 5th January, no progress so far. I think it really comes down to Visa Offices now, someone got a PPR last week from London VO, AOR 18 Sep, IP1 on 23 Nov and IP2 on 3 Dec PPR 11 Feb...My file is transferred to London VO and I think yours is in Paris VO.

I was in panic, but now feeling better to know that we all are in the same boat, i guess until there is significant progress on Corona control our files will be moving at snail's pace. I wanted to buy a car now and move my place, not sure if I should do it now or do it in Canada if PPR comes...the wait is tough, april is just around the corner, our normal 6 month processing times would expire.
