No they haven't, no updates about being transferred to a visa office

Please suggest that is it advisable to apply for visitors visa for my spouse?
As its been quite frustrating for both of us now.

Application recd oct 24 2018
Medical done
File transferrd to local visa office Jan 25, 2019
No update after that.

Please suggest if I can apply for visitor Visa for my spouse.

I noticed that many of those who applied in November also did not get file transfer yet... I am November 7-th and nothing afte medical. I guess it definitely will be 12 months for us... when you call them, they say all is okay...

No medical? My husband also paid fees for biometrics in February upon their request, but they didn’t ask for it yet. I am novermver applicant

It’s not ideal to apply for a visitor visa. Most likely trv will be declined because they’ll see that there’s already an ongoing sponsorship/pr application.

You may try the following options:
1) order gcms notes to know thhe exact status of your papers
2) meet somewhere else like USA - if both of you have trv / necessary papers
3) wait for a bit more cause usually it takes a little while when transferred to local visa office. You may want to also communicate with them and try if they would response.

Waiting may be painful but we know that this is only temporary. Let’s keep the faith that everything will fall into place at the right time (ours included, still waiting for ppr, oct applicant)

Yes, in the gckey it will say reviewing additional documents. Once they start reviewing them.

Hi there. I am still waiting for my spouse's application. IRCC received on Oct 15, 2018. Here is my timeline:
Send application on Oct 15, 2018
mississauga office send the first email on Jan 17 to confirm sponsor approval and my application was on the way to Singapore Office
Link to my account on Feb 2
Singapore received mine on Feb 7 ( but they send again through my CIC account on Feb 13)
biometric fee requested on 12 Feb. Pay 85 through web page
Biometric letter request on Feb 14
Biometric completed on Feb 18
Background check : "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Since then, I am still waiting for medical. I see some of the application in this group have medical passed in the early stage but mime is different. I think they are playing with my spouse's police check and send medical after this, but I am not 100% sure. Is anyone share the same timeline with me?

I got my medical done on May 3rd ( status change to pass medical exam on GC key - and medical received on ECAS porta)l - since then, there is no new updates !!!

For many applications, there is a gap of 3 weeks - 1 months between medical/biometric to Pre-arrival letter / PPR! I think this will be a week or two from now. Let's see

I did call and followed instructions. It says bg check not started yet. Its been 4 months already since file got transferred to lvo. I don't understand how the system works.
