I just got a ghost update on gckey. Before open the app, there was written “Application/profile updated” instead of “Submitted”, but nothing changed inside. Does anybody know what it could be?
I didn’t get any email and Ecas is still the same.
Here it’s my timeline:

App received: October 3rd
AOR: October 25th
CSQ request: October 31st
CSQ app sent: October 6
CSQ approved: November 28
Restoration + OWP sent: December 8
Medical request: December 12
Medical done: December 27
Medical passed: January 7
Background check started: January 16
Restoration + OWP approved: March 13

The review of your eligibility might start soon/ you might get AIP, SA or DM

I called CIC today and they said my security check is done! So I guess the ghost update was about this, maybe? Background check is still going on on Gckey though... it might take some time until I get DM, I guess...

Sometimes they take time to update it in their system so don't you worry
If background check is done then you should receive DM soon

Does anyone remember how long their eligibility review took for their OWP? My partner's status just changed to that today because we sent his OWP application in December. He needed to restore his status since his previous permit expired in October.

If I'm remembering correctly, within 24 hours for most people here (and us). And your timeline for a final decision for owp is lining up too!

Quick question:

I just made a login into my cic account. I see profile updated, I didn't see any change in application status and I also logged in into Online services, I still see it as In-progress.

I received my AOR on October 26th and Background Processing started on Jan 17

Any idea what is going on ?

They say it’s a sign that we must receive AIP and SA soon and after DM. There are some people in this forum who get all three together. Some take a few days, others a few weeks. When did they receive your app, may I ask you?
