I mentioned my frustration with LVO recently in another post. They have slowed down. Many September applicants reported that their background checks began in March, which would then logically mean that SOMEBODY from October would see some movement the month after, in April. We are now well into May and no October applicant in London has moved onto the background check.

Something changed between March and April and I'm inclined to say it's that they stopped updating MyCIC with the Background Check Started status. If this is true, then we still have at least a month and a half before anybody has any hope of seeing anything. In this case, the Background Check Started update would happen almost exactly at the same time as DM.

This is all speculation, of course.

Same with Paris VO,they slowed down,and no updates since pre-arrival services its been almost 6 weeks now,no BGC started also

in some cases they can. but usually before 12 months they have an answer for us. its been 7 months for us october applicants and we are losing our patience because we see other visa office appliants have gotten their PPR or COPR long time back!

In Panel Physician Toronto show me they don't submit my file ..they take 7-10 days to submit the medical report.
But in my online tools, it shows medical has been received.
Is it ok or Something wrong happens??
BTW I did my medical on 27 March 2017 & on April 01, 2017 in online tools they have shown they received it.

nothing is wrong. its filed electronically by the panel physician, the doctor told you 7-10 just to be safe. it usually takes 2-4 days.

Someone in a whats app group im in has seen someone in their fb group get pre arrival. They were October 3rd applicant. They were at LVO - pakistan PA.

Try not to stress too much. I too am in the same boat as you: December applicant with not even so much as sponsor approval yet. Hang in there

47 days after pre-arrival services and nothing..BGC still not applicable i lost patience...

It is but i only check it every so often as I can find it a little disheartening/negative.. Don't get me wrong I can be negative about this process with the best of them but I just prefer this forum.

There also isn't many British on the whatsapp group so while it's good to know what's happening I don't find it covers as broad a spectrum as this forum does.

But they show,medical result received. What does it mean? Is there any good news ??
