Exact same day I got DM too. Hmm...maybe mine will be the very next batch

I hope so my friend!!!! But I got mine sent to me at 12:30am last night (3:30am Ottawa time) I didn't realize they worked though the night lol

Congrats! . October applicants are being cleared through. I'm waiting patiently, DM sept 17th
 
My status description finally changed to 6 lines. It's still in process though, but I think that's an improvement. :P

This is what it say:
"We sent you correspondence on July 31, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

Yep - it is an improvement in my opinion. I hope all of us October applicants still waiting for PPR get finality soon.

Congratulations to all those who got PPR already!

One question though, does the ECAS status change from "Decision Made" to something else when you get PPR? Or do you only get notified by email?

DM on September 8

No update since then.

It's funny though because I emailed them a month ago regarding police clearances, and they told me I don't need to get one from canada and as a side note, the personel said on the email na "Please also be advised that your Application has been approved." That's when I checked my ECAS and found that the status is now DM. I wonder if that was legit. Anyone with the same experience?

So nothing to worry about!
Maybe your letter for passport request was sent via regular mail. Just wait for it.
Claim it now!

While it is possible to get your PPR via regular mail, It is rare!. In other words, don't expect to get PPR via regular mail. Now to your question - generally in DM stage, the CIC matrix explains that at this stage , a decision has been made on your application i.e it has either been "approved" or "denied" . Considering your timeline and confirmation from CIC, you are approved. Now being approved doesn't mean you'll get PPR immediately. Sometimes it takes 4 - 5 weeks. Your application can be approved and be in queue for the visa stamping - this appears to be the case with you.
