October 2014 PNP CIC Applicants

An update for all October 27 applicant.
I called cic yesterday and fortunately found a nice guy on the other side. I told him that i wanted to know if i have missed any important mail or email communication from cic since its too long after i went into IP.
He did open my file after that and infromed me that background check is in progress. He also informed me that everything looks good so far in my file and i can expect my PPR by emd of this year or max January next year.

I guess all October 27 are on the same boat since they share the same timeline. I think we might have to wait patiently for couple of months more before our PPR.

No they have not requested me for any additional doc till now..

Guys relax. What the agent has done is they hvae calculated the time from the date of the application. so 15 months for Oct comes to Dec or Jan this year. So they are telling that. My guess is that you guys will get sooner than that!!

I am from New Zealand so my file got transferred to our nearest visa office which is Sydney Australia. and they are hell slow in fact they have not even touched our file according to our GCMS notes.
Can someone please post CIC contact number so I can call them and ask what the hell is going on.

Need advise I m little confused

Same thing happened to me, I have received AOR on March 24 and nothing after that not even medicals and now status have changed to In Process. Let see how this works :-(

Well, according to the CIC website, the average processing time for the Sydney, Australlia office is 29 months, while Ottawa's processing time is 15 months. So it makes sense that you haven't had much progress on your file yet.

But October 9 I found my Ecas show :IP

But confusion is : it says we started processing your application on 24 February 2015

Why they are letting me know so late

Or this the way Cic works

So is it good sign for my application
