OCTOBER 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

Hello October members I am a fellow october applicant as well.
Just never discussed much. Anyway I have a following question for the members.

I saw this morning that the generic application form IMM 0008 has been updated to November 2014 from August 2014. Therefore my question is what about the people that applied before the new form was updated will they be asked to submit the new form. I am asking if someone applied with the August 2014 form IMM 0008 in September 2014 and October 2014 and haven't gotten there Sponsor approval will they be asked to send in the new form when CIC opens there file for initial review.

Please members who have experienced this please give me some advise.

My problem is that our application was delivered on 31st... :'(

From my personal experience you will be asked to send new form and this pushes your application to another 45 days as that is what happened to me when I sent in a July application received by CIC July 11th and the form changed in August.

Would you advise to wait for CIC's request to send the new form before doing so? i dont have a file number yet. im afraid our whole application will be sent back to us because of the old form.im also a november applicant.

Yes I would suggest you wait.

since I have file number (UCI), I was thinking of sending the new form ahead.

Same here, delivered on the 31st. We're just gonna keep moving at snail's pace if they keep sending those forms back

I don't really trust them...

Hi Everyone,

I just downloaded the latest version of the IMM0008 Generic Application form, and I cross checked it against the form that I submitted (which was the version -IMM0008- 06/2014)

There's no additional information asked on the 11/2014 form that's not already in the 06/2014 version of the same.

Since we're all wondering whether our applications will be sent back or they'll ask for a copy of the latest form, they probably wont since there's no new info! Fingers crossed!

Someone else please double check this!
