how to join the spreadsheet?

Some of September applications are still outstanding. I am hoping it's because member's didn't update the spreadsheet.

What is your time line. Did you send the medicals along with your application or separate?

Anyone received anything this week so far!? I feel like I'm going crazy and I constantly refresh my email inbox.. Some of us are at 50 days already!

Was your application received on Sept 30th? or Oct 1st?

Did you fill out the form? You could try calling the call center

yes, I just filled out the form and sent it. I can't call the call center since I'm not in Canada. Hopefully we hear something soon!

I have people use VOIP to call a Canadian number, or you could try services which provide free calling to Canada - I believe Google hangout does.

I have an international plan and can make regular long distance calls to Canada, but for some reason this one won't go through. It rings and then tells me the call cannot be completed as dialed.. I'll try the online programs you suggested. Thanks!

Hi everyone, I managed to call CIC from overseas using this number: 1-613-944-4000 and following the options to eventually get to an operator. I tried Google hangouts using the 1888 number and it would connect but would drop off after a few minutes of no answer.

I was able to confirm that our application was received on Oct. 3, which is a day later than it was delivered by DHL, not a big deal Other than that, the agent couldn't give me any information. She said they are processing applications received on Sept. 25 which is the same info that is online.

Anyways, I feel a little better at least knowing that it was received and hopefully I'll get SA soon!

Hello everyone. I am a September applicant and thought I would share some info with you.

My application was received on September 19th 2014. I called them on October 31st 2014 (42 days in). At that time the processing time was 44 days.

I was told they are only looking at applications submitted on September 15th so wait a week and call back. 2 hours later I had sponsor approval. It was not the case that me calling about my case spurred them on as I did not give any personal information.

Long story short the people you speak to have little to no access to what is actually being processed. It would serve no purpose to the CIC to have the actual date they are working on displayed on the website. They are working on applications which were received after the date publicized.

Did you have to give the sponsors UCI number to check if they received it?

Thats good at least they received it
