Thanks all, technically it is the same case as that of acecube. All the best for speedy SA to all.

IMO CIC officers open the application within 30 days of receiving them.

hi guys,
congrats to those who got their SA already, nice to hear good news :)

I have a question about the spreadsheet: what is the row nr 2? I am confused, it is completely different than row number 3 with all our dates. should it be erased, or do i not understand it properly? when I am looking closer, it looks like some cells there should be shifted to the right.
can we do it to have it easier to read?

cheers! :)

Row 2 details the color coding. For example Row 2, Cell D is Sponsor Approval. If an applicant receives sponsor approval then that row's background color should be set to Light Blue (same as Row 2, Cell D).

It is basically a legend of sorts so you know which stage each application is at.

yes, I figured it after a while :) i would just move cells in row to to match the row 3, to make it more obvious, especially for newbies on this forum, such as I am ;)

Hey guys,

The step 1 application time has been raised to 48 days and they are working on files received Sept 25th.

Yes, September 2014 applicants spreadsheet also suggests that applicants of 25-26 September have got their SA on 14th November. Also, it can be seen in the spreadsheet that it takes about 50 days. ??? So they have now averaged it out to 48 days. :o

Welcome David. Have you updated the sheet?

somebody knows if we can send an e-email to CIC atleast to get an AOR?

Thanks!

I don't know of an email address.. but I'm interested as well! Is there a phone number we can use to call CIC from outside Canada? I'm at 48 days waiting for SA and getting a little ansy..

same here im outside canada.

im at 42 days I was hoping for something this week but now it seems maybe next week

From what I read there is no way to contact CIC via phone outside of Canada unless are able to call the usual 1-888-242‑2100

You can contact the case specific form
