Finally got my package out today.

PR: 2010-11-19

Got the job offer and moved here on 2011-07-10 from the US.

Traveled a lot, mainly to the US, and finally accumulated 1,106 days in Canada.

Package out: 2014-10-20

Hi All,
I just sent it in my Citizenship Application on 18th October and it should reach by the 23rd.
I sent 2 adult and 2 Children application and hope all works out in time.
Wishing all the October applicants success as we all wait for the final papers.

I have similar package of 2 adults and 2 kids. Kids should be given priority!! -)))

I mailed my application on 21-Oct-2014. (yesterday)
Tracking the package via Canada Post till its delivered safely.

However, i must say - as a Permanent Resident i feel quite confused about the processing times.
24 months? Come on. Are we really going to wait minimum 2 years?

I felt like i would apply and in the next 4 weeks i would take the Test.
Slow-living is not cool when you are waiting.

LOL. Well... You need to be realistic Would you give citizenship to someone after only 4 weeks ? I doubt it.

I agree, 2 years seem a bit long though but oh well. That way you have the time to think about Being Canadian and what it implies.

PR from France used to take 10-12 months when I applied in 2009. Now it's 2,5 years and you can only apply during certain period of time. I am glad I became a PR in 2010.

Glad and proud to become canadian as well! Within 2 years ahahah.

BUT some people are saying that it's taking less time to become Canadian now so I guess we'll see. I an in Alberta and it's usually very long here.

10-12 months seem very reasonable and fair processing time.

hello guys! send my application last friday Oct 17 and i checked it today by canada post and it was delivered oct 20 at 8:48 AM Monday with signature DL. Im hoping there wont be any problem with my papers... (cross finger) Good luck to all!

Mine was delivered this morning at 8.47 AM .. when does the signature stuff show up? I am also curious how long between delivery to thnm and it starts to appear on line -- as in, when do they open the envelope

did you send it by canadapost ? you can check it online just type your tracking number from the receipt and it will show the details and the person who signed to receive the envelope. you will expect like 45 days if there is no problem in the docs before they will send AOR .
