I did my interview last two weeks and the offcer said it is very good and said we will send to you email or by mail letter then i call CIC yesterday to check my file and said i passed the interview and said if we need some documents we call you what means please

I had old passport when I was a minor. It was cancelled and I don't have that passport with me. The status on my current passport shows "Old PPT Cancelled and Returned"
My cic emails to bring all current and expired passport... It means do I have to bring that cancelled passport also with me?

If the cancelled passport covers any part of your eligibility period, then yes, you need to take that with you. However, if it's completely outside your eligibility period, then the officer likely won't be interested in it.

Hello guys. i have test date for 20 sept. i have two kids 3 years and 6 months. me and my spouse has same date for test. pls suggest if i apply to request for.different dates for me and spous3 then how.much delay would be there. or someone knows if i can send kids in any good day care because my kids never stay with anyone and will be difficult. i live in mississauga and my test in scarborough. applied 23 oct. app recievwd 26 oct.

I along with my wife wrote citizenship test in Calgary on June 11. We both passed with 20/20.

Requested moving our file to Ottawa on June 15, 2018 (Moved to Ottawa for job on June 13).

File was moved to Ottawa office on Aug 10th, 2018.

Decision made on Aug 14th, 2018.

Invitation to Oath letter received in email on Aug 23rd, 2018.

Oath (big day) on September 07, 2018 in Ottawa.

(1) The delay could be substantial. It is always wise not to postpone any IRCC dates, unless it is absolutely unavoidable.
(2) Some day cares are one-off and some are not. A Google search could divulge details of them based on your location.

I just received my Oath Date today: 20th Sep 2018, Thursday, Misissauga Citizenship Office (BIG DAY FOR ME INDEED).

The whole process took about shitty 11 months, (Oct 2017- Sep 2018).

I am a Scarborough applicant, Test was in Scarborough and Oath in Misissauga!

Congratulation bro, I hope that the idiots will send me my oath soon, too because I feel it's so boring to wait for them to move their a** to finalize our applications.
