I'm sure my background should pass, which is still in progress; but what I'm worried is some policeman or government officials are lazy or simply overlooked when CIC ask for my security or criminal clearance back in home country... and local agent here are too dumb to push them but simply wait...
If you call CIC and told your background is done, then at least you can wait peacefully...
I tried to call CIC several times, but always says my call cannot get through and it ends the call automatically. Do you recommend a specific time or number to call?

You are right. it has everything to do with how quick the agent is. My FP result was sent to CIC in Montreal a month ago (I have confirmation from RCMP), but the CIC still does not acknowledge its receipt when I call. It means the result is there but my useless agent hasn't opened the envelop or put it in a pile of files for it to be opened in the next 6 months (she only send me something every 6 months...lol). I applied in Oct. 2017 too and it seems like I won't be citizen within the 12months processing period. :( very frustrating!!!
Yes, very frustrating and unfair, the same for me. I had a horrible experience with them for PR and now looks like the same bs for citizenship. Good luck to all of us.

Hi All, I had applied in October and my application went into process in December. No news since. However, I got incorporated in May. Should I inform CIC of this change? If yes, any idea how it would affect my processing times?
Thanks

No, it has nothing to do with the citizenship application. Have you checked ECAS, there might be updates there that have not went to your inbox in case of incorrect email in the system or went to spam? They will probably ask you about employment at the interview.

Thank you. I do check ECAS everyday and my spam folder. Patiently waiting.

I brought my Letter of Invitation to the Test, PR Card, Passport, 2 pieces of photo ID : Health Card (i lost my ontario photo id card, but my interviewer was ok with that). Anything extra depends on your application, eg translations etc.
