After ordering and receiving my GCMS notes and initially going through the 47 page document i had noticed i passed all Prohibition, Criminality Clearance, RCMP Screening checks so i wasn't sure what was holding up my application. I decided to call the call centre and a very nice lady took a look into it for me and told me that they are still awaiting the Security Clearance. She pointed out what page number it was on and low and behold, the Security Clearance heading is there but there is no information detailed.

She said that the call centre just tells people to be patient and purposely doesn't go into detail about it but because i had brought it up with her, she explained to me that she has access to the same GCMS notes on her system as what you order online. I'm guess the security clearances are in regards to all the trips i've made outside Canada during my time here but its nice to know that my application isn't sitting on someone's desk in Edmonton for no reason.

The GCMS notes are handy as they do tell you what checks have been done but it doesn't make the process go any faster unfortunately

My wife, gokeeper+1, my son and 28 others applicants attended special citizenship ceremony at Appleby College today, the ceremony was beautiful, takes 1:45 from checkin time. Our host Appleby College even prepared a small reception outside the hall with pastry, fruit and beverages. Everyone had an opportunity to take photo with judge after the ceremony.
Good luck to everyone, you will become Canadian soon.

Yes, now she needs to wait for the Oath invite. Scarborough is slow to schedule Oath, so it may take a little while.

The immigration officer mentioned that if everything is fine the oath invite letter be mailed by October.....

Yep, that's the standard response they give (i.e. within 12 months from the date of application). Hopefully it arrives a bit sooner.

Dear senior VIP memebers and other lower members

I have question regards to home citizenship declaring on canada citizenship application

I am dual Pakistani / Indian national. I only say Indian to Canada and they no know about Pakistan nationality

Is this problem. My interviewer after test looked like from Pakistan. I become nervous.

Thank you for kindest responce

Dalit
Since you are a dual citizen you should have declared both your citizenships on the application. As far as I know India doesn't allow dual citizenship so you are not doing right by not declaring it from the start of your process.

Whats the reason for hiding your Pakistani nationality?

Even if you get your oath invite, a misrepresentation can always lead to issues down the road.
Having another passport means you may have used it to leave and enter the country without IRCC knowing.
The decision to hand you your citizenship is based largely on the fact that you spent enough time in the country, so, it's not exactly a harmless omission, like, say, forgetting that you worked in a McDonalds for a week 3 years before the application.

While I understand that being a dual citizen of India and something else raises eyebrows, that's not an issue for Canada and Canada wouldn't have told the indian authorities... But hey, your call. You'll live with it.
