Please
To be frank and fair, there is an overflow of "are we there yet?" in the forum.

I too am among those who are urging applicants to RELAX, BE PATIENT, and recognize that once the application has AOR status, there is nothing more the applicant needs to do or can do other than watch for communications or notices from IRCC, prepare for the test, appropriately respond to IRCC as needed including showing up for the test and interview, and OTHERWISE WAIT.

I do not know the motives behind the post you quote, but most of us who are urging PATIENCE, emphasizing the WAITING NATURE of the process, do so in an effort to emphasize the applicant CAN RELAX, there is nothing to worry about, no need to be stressed. (Of course this is about qualified applicants who properly completed the application and who timely and appropriately respond to requests and notices from IRCC.)

The point is to assure those with applications in process that there is no need to wrestle with this process. It is OK to reduce the stress as much as you can. Sure, some find relief from stress in raking over process minutia, following every little ripple of information. But there tends to be a tone and insinuation here which heightens anxieties, elevates apprehension, even tension.

That is, there appears to be some need for reassuring voices, for comforting comments, it is all OK, don't worry, be happy.
I totally get it, and thank you for clarification. Just to answer your question, my motive is just to remind people that everyone looks at things differently, what one thinks is a dramatic reaction might just be others trying to express their emotion/frustration. And mostly importantly, we shouldn’t be mean to one another by calling someone else a troll/petulant child. Don’t you think so? And now I feel bad to have started this. Sorry guys.

If thats the case, then you don't have to be here. In this case, I think it is totally normal for people to compare between different offices, that is just how human nature is. Please please please, I am assuming you are trying to play some sort of a "leading role in this forum, and I don't think it is okay to accuse others of their emotions by calling others 'petulant children'. I have been hesitating for a while whether I should be making comments like this, but people are all made different, calling someone a petulant kid won't help or change how they deal with stress. And if you really can't stand the human nature, as many of the people here share, then just don't log in. Don't get me wrong tho, I still very much appreciate the contribution you made to this forum.
Have yourself a wonderful afternoon.
You can fix your problem by having realistic expectations. Complaining about the process taking “too long” when we are only 6 months into a 12 month process isn’t going to help you or anyone.

I don’t want to take a leading role, I just don’t understand the need for what’s going on in the forum atm.

troll
trōl/
  1. verb
  1. 1.
    informal
make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them.
"if people are obviously trolling then I'll delete your posts and do my best to ban you"
Since you referred to my "troll" comment, it was appropriate since, in my opinion, the person I was referring to was acting according to the definition.

So, in general I agree, but if someone is going to deliberately bait another, they should be called out for the effort.

First I’m not complaining about the processing time. Second, complaining is a personal choice, you shouldn’t be judging others.

Sorry, but just as complaining is a personal choice, so is judging others. And btw, quite a lot of the complaints are awfully judging of IRCC, often without factual basis.
