I DID A BIG MISTAKE-----------------NEED HELP

hello dear friends, i am coming here after long time.
i applied for my citizenship recently, a week back. still not received any intimation from IRCC
but i realised i did a big mistake
i mistakenly omitted to mention a country i went for one week during my eligibility period
i am worried if this will affect my application
and if IRCC considers this as wilful omission

WHAT SHOULD I DO??????????

PLEASE HELP
As some have suggested you can wait for AOR and do a webform correction... with explanation; or wait until the test/interview and prepare to explain to the agent with your passport and copies of all pages in hand).

Now, if your eligibility days are too close to 1,095 (no cushion), that could be an issue.

Whether this is a "big" mistake or merely a minor omission due to an oversight can depend on various factors. The biggest one is whether you had enough of a margin over the minimum 1095 days required to accommodate a deduction for this trip and still qualify. If you did not apply with a margin at least big enough to accommodate another week's absence, wait to you get AOR and then withdraw the application (since you do not qualify anyway).

If you applied with a margin big enough to accommodate this omission, and it is indeed an isolated mistake (in which case congratulations are in order, as you have apparently submitted an application with only one error, which is rather remarkable), you can update the information via webform AFTER you get AOR or you can wait until the interview to address this and make the correction.

Many, many applicants make mistakes of this sort. Standing alone it should not be a big deal if you otherwise have a strong case and a solid margin (month or three) above the minimum.

Hi , Is oath letter comes by email or regular mail ?
I think we heard from other members that both are possible, some got email and others got it via snail mail. There will be an additional line in ECAS in both cases, status will still be "decision made".

Hello guys,
Please I am worried, I have this question. I did passed my Citizenship test (19/20) here in Saskatoon, SK on 14th Feb 2018 but up till now, I have not received the 'Decision Made" information. It is over two weeks since the test date. I severally checked for status of my application online but it is still showing ' in-process'. During the interview, the CIC staff told me that she will inquire/confirm about return dates of my two trips to the USA from Canada. Is two weeks wait not just enough for this? Please can anyone on this platform offer some useful information to me? Thanks Guys.

Hi guys!

Just an update. I passed the test 20/20 this morning. Easy. As mentioned in thousands of other comments, read the book few times and do the online tests.

Interview took 5min. The officer basically flipped the pages of all my passports (at that speed I'm pretty sure he couldn't even see the dates...). I have around 50 stamps from 13 different countries. Some in spanish, english, arabic... He didn't ask for translations, COPR, language proof or anything.
He had the record of entry/exits from CBSA and he noticed I had wrong month in one of the entries on the physical calculator. I confirmed that should be September instead of August, he modified it and that's it. He told me I should get the oath letter in few weeks :) :)

Good to see that the GTA offices are picking up speed. I'm now actually hopeful we might see a test invite in early 2019. /S
