It depends on the processing center. Some are faster than others. IRCC indicates processing time for grant of citizenship applications is 12 months (as of now). If after 12 months, you're not a citizen, then you can start worrying a bit.

BTW, you can order GCMS notes on your file to get some idea what checks etc have been completed so far. Takes atleast 31 days to receive them.

Where to order GCMS notes ?

(requests made under the Privacy Act are free)
Thank you.i will check that

Hello All

Do any one know if cic share the same database for finger print with security clearance? I have done my finger print for my reliability security clearance in august 2017 and applied for citizenship in October 2017. Wondering if i will require finger print ?

Thanks

Waiting
Hi All,

I have a question if someone can help me. I live in Calgary and soon i am going to move to Windsor Ontario. March 5th is my Test Date so i will be giving the test in Calgary but after the test and before the Oath Ceremony can i change my address? I will be changing province so i don't know how it will affect the process. Should i come back for just Oath ceremony in Calgary to avoid delays or should i notify them of address and province change?

If they ask you !!!! You will have to do it .. since RCMP complete a check of fingerprint the results are destroyed by the privacy act only federal employee and service policeman record stays for 90 days afte have to redo
