MR appointment booked for May 6th, 2014, earliest I can find.

I had thought RPRF would come only after the medical request is completed unless you had done MR before. I have never done MR before and it came same time. It's a good thing I suppose?

By the way, I checked online just last night and there was nothing on my file. It has not been opened according to it. So if you are checking online everyday and still doesn't see it, do not worry. I think the update is just delayed.

Congrats! btw RPRF won't necessarily come after medicals completed. it will come same day or next day after medical request too.

Not yet my friend. Though i got RPRF request today and i will go ahead and pay.

I will wait till end of this week and might think of upfront medicals next week.

Just got my RRPF, have already received my MR last week.

Need an advice, since I am applying from india, shall I mail CIC to allow my visa stamping to be done at new delhi office, or shall I wait for the PPR request first.

Also, can some one pls help me with the format of this request mail to be sent to CIC.

ECAS, like GCMS notes, is always a little outdated. Do not rely on the information provided on ECAS.
Your status may change to "In Process" today, tomorrow, the day after or in a week.

What's important is, that you've received the MR.

I wonder, if anyone did RPRF upfront?
I unintentionally did. I didn't understand the full process and paid everything mentioned at the time of application submission. Would they notice that I overpaid and accept that (without sending RPRF request to me), or refund what I overpaid for application processing, and then, upon acceptance, issue a separate RPRF request?

Any ideas?
