If same day you return than no need to but wait for any other to answer I am not sure

But the thing is- my last entry into canada was from a few-hour trip to the states. If that on my generic form doesnt match what i have in "my travel", would that be a problem.

you can mention your travel in travel history form and mention from and to date same when ever you travel and if its stamp in passport for entry and exits

Re: oct 2013 applicant - NOC code for RA (research assistant)

Hello folks,

I'm almost finished gathering my documents. I should be able to send them off in a couple of weeks. The only thing not yet ready is the employment letter. I was on a one-year contract as a "research assistant" at my university after I finished my masters. My problem is with the NOC code.

My duties best match NOC 4012, but it has the requirement of being registered at school (which I was not in that year). NOC 2148 (engineering scientist) also has similar duties, but the thing is my title was not "engineering scientist" in that year. It has also some confusing requirements about having PEng, which I don't have.

Between those two, which NOC do you think is better?

Aren't they both mean the same thing? I mean you are in a training period for the post Supervisor.

I know quite a bit about this NOC and I'm so sorry my friend but in my opinion you MAY be in trouble on this one. You arnt really performing the role of the 'Skilled position'.

Until you are promoted and you 'ARE' performing the role of the manager (or even assistant manager) then your skilled work experience hasn't started until that point.

You will also see from HRSDC from the title list that a supervisor trainee doesn't exist, besides that if you think about it logically, how have you gained skilled experience?, its a no brainer really.

Get promoted, gain your experience and then apply. If you apply now I think you'll be just wasting your money, but its up to you

wish I had better news
