Hi All,

I got my landing documents. However in my landing paper my city of destination is Calgary. I applied for the application last year in September, at that time I was in Montreal and in my "letter of intent" I mentioned that I will move to Calgary or Toronto in future when I find a new job.

Meanwhile, in last three month, I got a new job in Toronto.

When I got my landing paper it says city of destination as Calgary, but now I am in Toronto as I moved to Toronto a month ago.

What do I do??

I am already in USA, as I came out in a business trip and now I am on my way back to Toronto. I just realized that and now i am in deep shit.

Shall I change my ticket to Calgary? I do not have any address in Calgary now.

Please help!!

Hi,
it's not a big deal. You don't need to change anything. It's up to you which border crossing you use for landing.

Hey

Finally it's over. Completed my landing procedures.

Awesome thing is that everything went smoothly.

Thanks all for consistent and amazing support.

Congrats Abhi,

Where did you land and what did you do for your address? Did you have to show an address proof?

Cheers

Hi
My husband and daughter are in India, and I am in Canada. Is there any chance that they can get stamped in India. I can't go because of my work, no one is coming from India who can bring there passports and I have heard that mailing passports is not legal from India.

You can send an email to Ottawa office to arrange their visa stamping at Delhi office. I would recommend to wait until the PPR, if have not gotten already.

Best,

Nope. I honestly think that the immigration officer thought I was not living in Toronto (and was from Montreal) and I just gave a temporary address in Toronto.

I am saying that because I gave my phone number that was from Montreal. I moved to Toronto like few months back but not changed the phone number.

However, he was nice and smiled at me. Din't asked for any address proof (I had them with me though). And proceeded to get my PR.

It all got over in less tham 30 minutes - also because there was literally no one at Toronto International Airport at 12:30 AM on Sunday.

Hi guys
Still haven't figured out how to update the timeline so here's whats happening with my case:

1. application received on Oct 25
2. MR and RPRF done on the same day in May (can't remember the date)

now I have a question. My medical was done in May and uploaded a week or two later by the doctor. The application status on ECAS as of today is still "In Process" and apparently my medical documents are still under review (this my laywer found out for me; she contacted CIC on my behalf). My understanding is that your medical files are assessed by some sort of med department before they get sent to the visa office or wherever the actual processing takes place. Now, if the medical department needed additional assessments done, wouldn't they have contacted me within 60 days upon receiving my file? I just don't understand why they should hold my file so long there if they are not going to ask me for extra documents. Has anyone seen or heard of anyone in a similar situation??

Thanks

Done medical in May. Still waiting.
GCMS Shows that medical file is under review at Ottawa RMO.

Where are all the October 2013 applicants? Is anyone still waiting for RPRF request after the medicals are done? My status still hasn't been updated to medical received. What should I do. It's been more than 13 months since I applied.
