You need to enter the Canada PP number and the tracking no starting with CANTXXX ... it takes a while for it to change from no record found to any status.

Hi Justrajdeep, Do you know in how many days BLS tracking starts to show status for passport surrender ?
My appl was submitted nov 6. I track using the options, Passport appl and Indian passport no. But nothing yet.

I applied on Sep 28, till Oct 17th it showed "no records found" for me.

Does anyone know how long BLS takes to pick up the OCI? CGI shows they have received the OCI on 11th. Can I expect to get the OCI this week?

Today being a Thursday don't pin your hopes much for getting it this week. It will be a good surprise if you get it in a day or two this week.

I applied for my daughter’s oci on 20th oct. No application status is shown on the bls site. The oci gov site says under process. Mission: Vancouver

Hi - my date of acknowledgement was 19th Oct ..I'd check periodically. I saw an update when I checked on 10th Nov. So you should see some changes shortly as well.

What about surrender certificate do we need COPR?

I did not submit surrender and OCI applications together. Since I had the citizenship certificate, I went to BLS and surrendered Indian passport first and submitted a written declaration that I'll be applying for Canadian passport. At the time of surrender, they did take a look at my COPR and took a copy but returned original. When I went again to submit OCI application, they took original COPR which was returned by Purolator a few days later. Good luck

Here's my OCI timeline. Similar to the experience of others, BLS staff told me 3 months, the website states 5-6 weeks. Most people have gotten it in 4 weeks.

Date of submission at BLS Toronto: Oct 13
Date of Acknowledgement: Oct 19
Documents printing status: Nov 10
Dispatched from MEA (OCI): Nov 10
Document received at Toronto: Nov 10
Purolator picked up from BLS: Nov 12
OCI received at residence: Nov 13

Will all the applications for 4 of us be clubbed together (should be the case) for courier or do they charge separately for each application? Thanks
