Quick question - do we still need to submit a physical photo? And is it 2x2 inch?

I’m trying to see if I can skip the Premium Lounge and save the $100, since mine is a straightforward single‑applicant case. Even if I choose Premium Lounge, I’d still go in person to pick up my OCI, so that extra cost is something I’d prefer to avoid.

Thanks for letting me know!

Vancouver Consulate. Its a week since the status changed to granted. BLS tracker shows still at consulate. Its super slow process for Vancouver. Crazy. I hope the next gen will be a PR like card rather than booklet.

e-OCI is coming next.

The e-OCI is the digital, mobile-accessible version of the physical Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card. It replaces the traditional paper booklet with a digital credential stored in a centralized electronic registry, making travel, immigration, and document updates significantly faster and more streamlined

Unfortunately I submitted my application a month before the biometrics rule change. I doubt I'll get EOCI

My Spouse and I applied in-Person OCI At Toronto BLS on APR 17th .

Application was " Under Processing" at Indian Consulate with Date Apr 28th.

Both of our application shows "OCI Granted" on Jun 1st. Waiting for other steps. Just sharing this for ppl to have an idea on latest processing times. Thanks everyone.

I have a question with respect to the OCI form where it asks: Have you/any member of your family applied for Overseas Citizen of India registration earlier? *
If Yes, give details:

is a sibling under this question NOT considered family (I am married so are my wife and parents and minor kids only considered family)
