OCI process

Happy New Year and Congratulations. That's a pretty quick timeline. I submitted mine at BLS Mississauga on Dec 16 and it went under process on OCI portal on Dec 24.
My question - When you say Acknowledged, does it mean the status got updated to under process for you on Dec 15?

Thank you. On OCI portal date changes after they acknowledge your application. Say you submitted online application (on portal) on 25th of nov., went in person 27th of nov. to submit docs. Now in my case it was showing under process from very beginning, but the date changed to 15th dec. (On portal , outside on dashboard you will see the date When you submitted the application online, but when you click view the date inside is the date that matters).

This is the date they actually acknowledged that they have received the physical docs as well. I hope this answers your question. Good luck.

Even after receiving the OCI booklet - the ociservices.gov.in tracker still says:-

OCI card delivered to applicant on - N/A



is this a reason for concern?

Processing is ~2 month 10 day, so more 8-10 days for it to be processed.
