My postal application got received on October 6,2022 still it’s showing no record on online portal. I tried calling multiple times but no luck.

do you have any magical formula to reach Bls Surrey ?

Nope. BLS Surrey has been terrible in terms of call centre service and accessibility. Just got to play the waiting game with them. Having said that, somebody else on here had their tracker updated after a month. So, going by that, we may be all looking at the same timelines maybe more.

For me and for my son,it was Oct 13th. For wife, it was Oct 11th. All 3 applications submitted in person on September 22nd.

Hello.

Does the status 'Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping' imply the document is ready for pickup or is it followed by a 'Ready for pickup' status?

I think my question got lost in the discussion. Can someone please answer.

I don't think the BLS status changes to Ready for Pickup. If you did not opt for delivery you can go to BLS and pick your OCI up when you see this status

Hi everyone. Please share ur experiences with Oci application. What the maximum time it takes.

I applied on September 10thh2022. Postal. And Bls brampton started processing on September 15th 2022.

I am travelling on December 3rd 2022 to India

WILL I BE ABLE TO GET MY OCI ON TIME Or should I apply for Visa??

I received my OCI Card today Friday 4th November 2022. Via Purolator.

Applied September 15th with BLS brampton
Acknowledge Embassy Oct 3rd
Received Toronto embassy 28th October
Bls received brampton 1st November
Delivery at home 4th November

I too am confused about the 'Counter Delivery' status. I thought it meant that OCI has been delivered from Consulate office to BLS office. I assumed that when its delivered to BLS, then they update their site to move the status from 'Processing at Consulate General' to 'Counter Deliver at BLS'. But when I called BLS helpline yesterday afternoon and told them that my application has been sitting on the 'Counter Delivery' status for 2 days and would like them to send it out as soon as possible because am flying to India next week, he responded saying BLS still hasn't received my OCI card. I told him that on the BLS site the status changed to 'Counter Delivery' and something must have triggered that status change. But he repeated saying 'Counter Delivery' means Consulate office has sent it but BLS still hasn't received it.

He said that I have to wait for the status to change to 'Ready for Dispatch'. Once it's on 'Ready for Dispatch' I can go to the BLS office between 3 to 4:30 and collect it in person the same day or else they will mail it out after 4:30 pm. My application status changed to 'Ready for Dispatch' this morning. So hoping I will receive by early next week.

Here is my guess on what's probably happening..An automated process bulk updates the BLS site to 'Counter Delivery' status based on a list that is shared by the Toronto Consulate. But the BLS folks still haven't physically received/processed those OCI cards. When they physically verify the cards they place it in an envelope ready to be mailed and they flip the status to 'Ready for Dispatch'. After 4:30 pm, they mail it out. Again, just my guess...

1st Nov. Printing means ... 7 -10 business days from there . To get ur oci.
