Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

While acknowledging there is some movement on the pending files, which is really good and many Congrats to lucky ones.

From our friend list here, we can notice some from Feb and yet many from the following months are still pending.

Hopefully, CIC pick up the speed and finish off all pending files soon before the yearend.

January 2012 or earlier,, hope all will get some good news soon...

am waiting since January 2012.. no new no progress in my file,,

whenever call CIC same reply processing time 35 months wait until December 2014...

Congratulations, .nice to know things are moving. I had test on 25th March and since then waiting for the Oath.

Guess, CIC loves files of some of us so much, they just does not want to complete them, they kept them pending...

Congrats !!!, Hopefully you are just few weeks away from your Oath date. As suggested by other reader here, request ATIP report and call the CIC agents to see if you can get some update.

Hello every one. finally i recieved my letter on Oct 27th. Huffffffff. It was a long journey but finally over. I m really thankful to this forum who helped me to understand the procedure and situation. below is my timeline.



We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on February 6, 2012.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 6, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on September 5, 2012.
Recieved the rq in september and submitted in oct 2012.

We sent you a notice on January 14, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 27, 2014 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

We sent you a notice on October 23, 2014 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on November 8, 2014. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
*Note: Citizenship and Immigration Canada does sometimes schedule events on Saturdays or Sundays.
