Oath Timeline after test at St. Clair Office

Hi Guys,

NOW I'M CANADIAN

Yesterday was the oath ceremony. It was about 1 hour.. every thing was great.. we were asked the show the document mentioned in the oath letter...

Hope you all will get the oath letter very soon .. Don't loose the hope ....I know for some of you it took to long .. but be patient you will get it ...I had 6 month between test and oath ceremony...

last 32 month and no progress and on other side I have noted people getting
oath letter within a year.

My application consider non-routine..

applied jan. 2012. in process may 2012. rq march 2013, rq replied april 2013.

since than no communication no progress, have checked several time with

cic alway stated file in review processing time 35 month....

I got atip report no progress

What's your background? And how many residency days did you have the day you submitted your application?

1110 days and submitted all proof, own house, landed as investor category..
therefore no job proof as i did not come to work in this country i invested
and waiting for my citizenship..

I called CIC on Friday and he said my test result is not yet uploaded!!
Although I passes my test on March 28.

They are really slow....

I've passed my test on Feb 20th 2014 after RQ at St.Clair.
Recently I got an ATIP report.
I see that the case stage/status is Assess/Open
The latest note dated from June 2014 says that the "File held for further review/analysis"
Also I see an activity type "hearing" with status "Not Required" updated in April 2014

Does it mean that I should wait for Oath since hearing is not required or "further review/analysis" may eventually trigger hearing?
Does anyone had same note "File held for further review/analysis" and got an Oath soon?

6 months and 5 days is too much for waiting...

Well, I see field "PS/Judge's Decision" with status "Pending" with update date back in December 2012.
It means judge didn't take a look yet.

I see. I think you can only start expecting oath after seeing " Approved" or " Granted". Good Luck.

you are not alone there are lot of people under RQ review and have no idea

why taking so long to review few papers and make a decision. my case is

pending since 32 month since I applied for citizenship... no action on the file....

I am with the forum since Moe started it in Feb, have not come across any data that suggests specific time farm between test and oath neither routine an non routine. Its all with the whims and wishes of CIC. Was told in between that we have more judges for the ceremony, papers have said that the process is progressing faster than before. I have seen that people became Canadians within 7 month of their application and some are struggling past 3 years.

To conclude, I would say its purely on case to case basis and nothing else. Lets no assume others timeline and try get frustrated.
MOE passed if Feb 14 and I on Feb 12, we all are waiting with no confirmation of news.
