I am just curious during the background security check, what does the immigration officer usually check during this process?

They generally check if you are not associated with any terrorist organization or if you are any risk to country or not. Also I think they do check ir travels in different countries

Oh i see. I thought they were back tracking all my previous work too and addresses. Well i do have one travle outside from my home country. I hope we all get our ppr bumy the end of this month

As am Frm sk province I sent an email to my Mp Mr. David Anderson,
Hope his gonna revert back to me soon. I ask him if he can verify with CIC about my due date.
But am not sure if his gonna do so. Let's wait we will see.

I personally found that this is really unfair that some people with pretty much same timeline as mine got ppr on dec and mine background is still not needed at this time.

My study permit expired. I finished my school while my pr is in processing(med done in nov) so i applied travel record.

But seems this can not help me to return to canada, right?

I am not sure waiting pr is same or not inland or outside.

I want to go home as nothing to do here.

Anyone can share experience thanks a lot.

I received a letter from CIO Sydney that requested me to go for a medical exam - second reminder. But I already went on November 17 and my doctor confirmed that he sent the result via eMedical. In the letter, it said if I already went, send them the details. I sent them through Case Specific Enquiry, but I don't know if that is the right way to contact them, or where to send the requested information to them?

Anyone in similar situation or know about this please advise me. I really appreciate!

CSE is the right way to contact IRCC. scan the detail sheet you got from your doctor and explain the situation in the web form
