No that's not true. After medical before DM your background status on mycic will change to in progress. After that there is no change until DM on ECAS. Background in progress after medical means that they have started the final security and it can take up to 3 months.

You are right.However,when i got med request i also got an email stating that your account has been updated but in case of background status change i did not get any email.I checked randomly and i saw that background check is in progress now.Is it weird or normal?so this is the security check they are doing before ppr?

I am November 23 applicant when I can expect mine.

I guess we should expect something in feb 2017.Your timeline is almost same as mine...

Sep is getting their PPR so Dec people wait another 2-3 months. Just chill out until then. You get it when you get it.

Thats true, same was with mine
After background progress, I got DM on ECAS and after that PPR
This is exactly what they are following these days
