It took me 54 days to get my BOWP approved. I suggest applying asap. Once it expires your SIN number expires, CRS account, health card, drivers license etc. Although the implied status will get you through things but it's not fun to receive calls from employer, cra etc asking about your status in Canada. The visitor visa costs 100 bucks.

Is it in production yet? Yeah i know, mine is more than 60 days now and they still havent mailed it. im leaving the country on mid july and if by then i dont get it, the agent said i can just apply for a travel document to go back in canada.

December 8, 2015, Upfront medical sepember 2016, request for document august 2016 representative said they send it in, request again jamnuary 2017, request for england police record April 13, 2017 Explanation letter sent , study online was not in england . called cic last friday background check in progress. this morning decision made on eacs

I dont have my cic, but i called cic automated on Friday and it said we are processing your background check. Did you know you can call and you get the status via automated voice?
