November 2024 - Citizenship Applications

My GCMS notes say "Grant Review Ready PM03" and there are no dates assigned to the Due Date.
Waiting on LPP since Feb 21.
I called IRCC and they mentioned that my application is not non-routine and it is in process.

Does PM03 indicate anything about non-routine?
 
Applied for a second time for cbsa gcm notes … junes almost over and that means 8 months are done from date off application submission

They have 2 months to finish up which seems grim tbh … it’s a ridiculous process

Nothing too significant, just a level of seniority for sign-off. PM03 is not terribly senior, but not a clerk or junior officer. Not meaningful in itself IMO.

Actually isn't that a senior officer? Those processing fast had 'PM01'. Therefore, it is my opinion that, even though the application is routine, there may be a wait time due to the scarcity of officers at the PM03 level.

PM-01 is very much entry level, PM goes up to PM-07. So 'more senior than the lowest possible', sure. My guess is that PM-01 direct approval you refer to are ones that are cleared with zero issues/minimal review (even automatic).

I wouldn't think PM3's are at all rare but is possible would mean small wait compared to none.

But not some complex file kicking up to what I'd call 'senior.'

I say this because I'm in the same category. All those with PM01 from December Group have received oaths (at least those that posted). I have PM03 grant ready since March 7 (if you recall) and both background and criminality cleared in early Feb and my test was marked complete Feb 21....yet I've been waiting since March 7 after the grant review ready PM03 note was left on my file by the junior officer. This is what leads me to think there is a backlog of PM03 officers.
 
Still no updates for my wife since 2/18 test complete. I guess I’ll request another GCMS on July 1, but it feels pointless.

I’m hoping for a 132 day gap at this point like that other guy got and maybe we’ll get LPP for her on 6/30.

someone updated today on whatsapp group that their LPP completed today and are scheduled for oath in July. Their Test completion date was 2/11. So hopefully your wife might get something next week.
