I have (had) a very similar timeline to you. I completed my test on July 28th, and I just got my oath scheduled two days ago. Stay strong - you're almost there!

Welcome to the Decision Made Club, enjoy your stay because it could be a while!

I've had my application be 'Decision Made' since October 22 and nothing since then. Not in any particular rush, but my PR Card expires on November 2 this year (with the 6 month window being June 2). Just hoping that I get my oath done before then and I get my passport because I don't want to renew my PR card again and get sucked into that if I need to travel outside the country.

That's a long wait. I hope they'll speed it up and we all get the invite soon. I do not see the logic of inviting 2021 applicants to take the oath while 2019/2020 applicants are still waiting.

Is there logic in anything else ?

Based on my past experience, things are generally straightforward here as they go by the textbook. And that is one thing I like about Canada. You cannot influence the process in most cases and in due course, it gets done. I know the pandemic has brought many new challenges which no one could have anticipated. Moving everything online as a pilot within a short span and working with it, fine-tuning and adapting to it, IRCC has done a good job there. But I definitely do not agree with their decision to process the new applicants while the older applicants are still waiting. I do not see the logic with that which surely is not the case on how they normally operate is my personal opinion.
