The only thing that seems to be clear is that a communication from IRCC on your medicals is a sign that your application is moving.

Last update was from 8th December 2020 when my medical was updated.
Since then, I haven't had any updates.

Mine is similar case, although my biometric is complete. No update since Jan 2021

since we cleared the question that moving to Canada won’t speed up FSW-O case file, would it speed up if you would move to US as a tourist? Address of residence for 3 months would change therefore, but you wouldn’t get the residence card

i see that no one else besides US residents is processed in FSW-O

No, I live in US. Same as any other FSW application.

Aor - 17 Nov 2020, just got my 2nd ghost update after the first many many many many months ago. Did anyone else get it?

Nothing to be worried about. This is the situation of the vast majority of outland applicants.

Ordering the GCMS notes is the only way to really know what is going on with your application.

I have the same profile, Nov 03 AOR and the same progress (Medicals passed Dec 10, 2020). I got a ghost update on October 1 2021, but nothing came out of it. I ordered GCMS notes last month and still haven't received them.

Honestly if my PR doesn't get approved by June 2021, I'll be applying for CEC since I would have been working full-time at my company for the 1 year required for CEC.

My visa office is Montreal if that matters

I saw Montreal giving PPR to Oct 24 so it should not be far

My medical exam expired 6/11 and I would like to have an idea about when I'm going to hear an update.

Hello respected member. I am new to this conversation. As far as my medicals are concerned they expired on the 23rd of Oct 2021 and I got an automated update in my EE profile on 25th Oct 2021.

Hi, I received a similar Ghost Update over the weekend I presume, which I saw today morning. Earlier my Medicals category had a date with the date it was passed on, but now it's just changed to "You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes." My medicals expired on November 6th, 2021.

Is there any action we should take ? I read in some forums, people doing up-front medicals but heard mixed responses as to wait for them to request for it, rather than doing it up-front.
