A question: I am thinking of contacting my MP because I cannot get through to IRCC and see what's going on on my file. My question is: do I need to print out any forms and sign, or I can sign the forms sent by the representative on my computer? I don't have a printer, and it would be a little more inconvenient for me to go out and print them.

Hello, the CIC citizenship status webpage mentions 'processing application that was received between 23 to 31 Aug', do they mean the AOR date or the date when the courier delivered the application package?

It's fine, you don't need to print it. I signed the form electronically and it was accepted.

Can you please share what are the steps to contact our MPs? Do we have to print out any forms and sign them, or everything is done online?
Contact your MP and tell them your situation and that you want to get information on your file. They will ask you to fill up and sign form IMM5475 (I signed electronically) and send it with a scan of an identity card. I sent a scan of my PR card but I suppose they will accept a driver's licence or health card.

Hi,

Does anyone update the 2019 Citizenship application? My case is closed on Dec 14. Thank you all for support and I wish all your process will be closed soon as well. Merry Christmas!

Congratulations, I guess you from Montreal?
hopefully I will get soon.
Thank you! I hope very member of this community, and those who are not part of it, get their certificates soon. This has been a very long, and incredibly frustrating process. Good luck and all the best.

Guys, the wait is over for me. I took the oath on Dec. 3 and received my certificate a week later! I would like to thank God for this and wish you all the best of luck in your application. It will be over soon!
