Hey guys , as we all know it's already July now , and many of us are awaiting our pprs since a long time , I am also awaiting the same from Halifax NS . Raised a web form and got a general response that it's still being processed. Has anyone outlander got any ppr from Nova Scotia . Agent is saying that they are working with limited staff , waiting has become difficult now . My 6 months expired on 12 may 2020.
@legalfalcon , any suggestions from your side.

Anyone awaiting pprs from Nova Scotia , outlanders , please let me know

Regards

I carefully read the information on this link. As I understand, in India, applicants can no longer submit an application for temporary residence in paper at the VAC until September 30, but it DOES NOT say that the very VACs will remain closed until September 30.

I think VACs may open and start services like collection of passports for stamping(which matters to outland applicants).

Please correct me if my interpretation is wrong.

It's horrible if VACs will remain closed until September 30; that will mean outland Indian applicants will not get PPRs until September 30:oops:

I guess ur interpretation is correct. Its only for paper based applications and they might finalize online applications as VFS is starting to open for various countries.

Ya VACs in India are going to open for some countries, but, unfortunately, not for Canada
https://www.thehindu.com/business/Industry/visa-application-services-for-select-destinations-to-resume-from-july-6-says-vfs-global/article31965565.ece

And VACs for Canada are unlikely to open until at least July 31 because there is a travel ban till then. Opening of VACs for Canada is a prerequisite for issuing PPRs.

So I got a gcms notes on 13th May and one again on 16th June. There is zero difference between the two which would mean my case has not moved at all. For folks who saw updates like covid pace, under what section did you see that? Also is there anything I can do apart from wait?

Yeah okay...we are on the same page.....

So, it's wrong to say that, in India, VACs for Canada are closed until September 30. They are currently closed....but we do not know until when.
