Hello!

I applied for my stay in Canada extension, which shows approved now but they have requested for a medical examination as well.
Can I submit the same medical which is 2 months older which I provided for my EE application?

Reply from London Visa Office

"Thank you for your enquiry.

Your application is being processed by this office (London, UK). We hope to be able to contact you again within the next few weeks.

Please wait to hear from us.

Yours sincerely,

Isn't this different compared to the generic replies we get from VOs? I enquired about my visa office and update on my application. I am in real IP2 for last one week What do you guys think?

Hi,

Yes you can submit that. I submitted the same med exam for my PR application when I applied for my study permit extension

I wonder how much time they really spent on each application.

I called cic again today, and they said last update on my file was on Jan 13th. Eligibility and Background in progress. It was the exact same status a month ago. I've heard Ottawa is the fastest processing office, but my case seems to have progressed very little.

I guess we all just have to give it 6 months. I'm giving up expecting it any time sooner than that.
