If they don’t approve you, donthey send you a message?
To link an application you do need to include sponsor as +1
While filling the form you do not have to include the sponsor.

Hi all, I feel like I've been lurking in this forum forever. It has been so helpful and answered many of my questions, thank you!
I thought it about time to post where we're at. Canadian Citizen sponsoring Indian spouse.
Application received on November 30, 2018
AOR received on January 30, 2019 and January 31, 2019
Application processing began on January 30, 2019
Medical instructions sent on February 5, 2019
Sponsor Approval received on February 7, 2019
Application transferred from Sydney to Mississauga on February 14, 2019
Medicals received/passed on February 15, 2019
I've only just now finally been able to link our application after many many attempts. It says eligibility check is in process, I dont see any messages or notes, so now we will continue to wait for the time being.
